Welcome to the Games Research Lab, part of the School of Computer Science of McGill University. Computer game research is a new and exciting area for computer science research. Games introduce a variety of interesting research challenges. These include algorithm and software design concerns with respect to efficient and playable game implementations, and also more abstract approaches to modelling and analyzing different facets of game structure.
Dr Jennifer Jenson is Professor of Pedagogy and Technology in the Faculty of Education and Director of the Institute for Research on Digital Learning at York University, Canada.
